Voluntary National Insurance Contributions

Thousands of taxpayers have been given more time to fill gaps in their National Insurance record after the government has extended the voluntary National Insurance deadline to 31 July 2023.

Anyone with gaps in their record from April 2006 onwards now has more time to fill gaps in their National Insurance record and help increase the amount they receive in State Pension. Any payments made will be at the lower 2022 to 2023 tax year rates.
